WHAT IS EUROPEAN COLONIALISM ?
European colonialism is a parasite that sucks the blood of a people and continent to sabotage, plunder and rape non-European people of their livelihood. It is the invasion, illegal occupation, division, cultural castration, rape and colonization by racist “white” European squatters who steal and deprive Indigenous people of their natural wealth (the resources of their land). Colonialism is the violent takeover that aims to destroy non-European peoples way of life by committing acts of terrorism to rob, annihilation, and dehumanize the original populations by deliberately and violently killing men, women and children. Colonialism is a violent act of domination to control political, economical and cultural freedom by subjugating and enslaving non-Europeans to European squatters and their interest. It is an illegal settler occupation founded by genocide with Christianity as a weapon to pacify and undermine the human dignity and self determination of Indigenous people on their own homeland. Colonialism promotes assimilation to distract the rightful owners of the land from the truth. Colonialism creates artificial colonial border divisions across the land in which it illegally occupies in order to divide, arrogate and rename and treat as foreign the original inhabitants and maintain control of the land it has stolen.

THE CONQUEST CONTINUES

The conquest still continues but only because we allow it to carry on with our silence and inability to study.

Seriously study the history of our people. Pre-1492 History of Cemanahuac the (so-called Western Hemisphere) with Anahuac the (so-called North America ) as a focal point for those of us living in "Central America", Mexico, USA and Canada.

The colonization of our continent and people is maintained by our inability to love ourselves and overcome our own fears. This inability is the result of the ongoing colonialism that continues to impose on our population the false narrative that we were and are an inferior people with no real history worth knowing. 

For centuries we have been denied our way of life as Nican Tlaca (First Nation, Native American, Mexican and Central American) people, we have been denied the right to self determination and to become an independent people without European Americans stealing the wealth of our land. We have been robbed, dehumanized, displaced, racially oppressed and terrorized on our own ancestral homelands and relegated to historical footnotes.

This can only change if we take a serious advance toward studying our Pre-1492 History (Supreme Knowledge of Self). And a serious advance toward studying the European Terrorist Colonization of our land and people (Knowing Your Enemy).

With this, we can begin to make some changes within ourselves and within our people to break the chains of ignorance and self hate.

NICAN TLACA COLLECTIVE IDENTITY Mexican And Mexican American Colonial Era Identity Of Resistance, Power And Liberation For The 21st Century And Beyond.    The term Nican Tlaca means “people here” and it is derived from the Nahuatl language.
